If you are like me you may have read blogs on the internet before but have not had a lot of experience participating in a blogging format.  This space will give us an opportunity  to pool together our expertise as we continually work toward providing children and families in our program with the highest quality services possible.  We can ask questions of each other, share ideas and gather input. Everyone has something to offer and I hope this forum will help us share the wealth of knowledge that is held by each one of you.  Thank you for all you do!

Wow, you are quick. I just published this but haven't sent the email out to staff yet. Any suggestions about how we can add to this would be great!

This may be a great place to get ideas for activities for children with disabilities. Many of us have had clients with severe delays and have had to improvise activities.

I agree Susan as I am not always able to print things from the P-drive.

don't forget to change the eligibility form to the new one.
Also I was wondering if we could name the forms (just one word would work for most of them). I don't remember all their numbers and I find myself opening files that I don't need, just to find the one I do. Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, made the change. Thanks! I agree and plan on making the name changes on the forms so you can tell what they are without opening them and finding out you have the wrong document! Thanks for the input.

I am really excited for this blog! Could our workshops and newsletters be a part of this site as well, rather than on the p:drive?

That's a great idea Shannon. So much easier to access!

We can certainly put newsletters and workshops on here. Sounds like the overall goal is not to have to get on the p-drive period. That is so understandable :) I hope to work some on this in the coming week so after renaming the forms this can be task #2. Really good ideas and thanks for responding. If anyone has a question that they would like me to put up as a new post please email it to me. Thanks!

Love having the easy access to all of the forms. Also having the iPad is wonderful. Having so many resources such as PAT, Gold, Zero to Three and others available at your fingertips is a great advantage. Thanks to the agency providing them for us. Looking for some advice as to how I can print from my iPad.

I wonder if under staff there should be a reference to our Child Care EHS program and the contact person for that. Katie W is the Coordinator for that Mancelona site.
