When even the starting line is out of reach

Here is a link to a great article that addresses the challlenges faced by families with limited resources and how critical programs like ours are to helping parents provide the start they want for their children.  It highlights one particular family who, without access to hearning and vision screenings for their little boy, were unaware of his hearing loss. (You will need to copy and paste this link)

Our next EHS meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 24th and we have the Boardman Nature Center reserved.   Two questions for you:

1.  What do you want on the agenda?

2.  We have some information to cover specific to the CFS and the FES role.          How do you feel about meeting separately for all or part of the day?

Thanks for your input!

If you are like me you may have read blogs on the internet before but have not had a lot of experience participating in a blogging format.  This space will give us an opportunity  to pool together our expertise as we continually work toward providing children and families in our program with the highest quality services possible.  We can ask questions of each other, share ideas and gather input. Everyone has something to offer and I hope this forum will help us share the wealth of knowledge that is held by each one of you.  Thank you for all you do!
